The Rock 'n' Roll Running Series Clearwater, Half Marathon and 5k will take place on the second weekend in October. The 5k will be held on Saturday, October 7th starting near Coachman Park with an out and back course over the Clearwater Causeway. The half marathon will be held on Sunday, October 8th starting near Coachman Park. Course and road closure information will be posted as it becomes available, please continue to check back. Saturday, October 7th 5k Bridge Closures
The Clearwater Memorial Causeway will be closing the North side at 6:30am. The South side will remain open, but traffic will be delayed. The South side will reopen around 8:30am.
Sunday, October 8th Half Marathon Causeway/Bridge Closures
The Clearwater Memorial Causeway will be closed to traffic starting at 6:30am on Sunday, October 8th for traffic moving Eastbound into Clearwater Beach. The Eastbound side of the causeway will reopen around 8:45am. The Westbound will remain open but, expect delays.
The roundabout from the causeway onto Gulf Blvd will be closed on the East/Northbound side at 6:30am. Anyone on the North side of the roundabout will not be allowed to exit until around 9:00am.
The Sand Key Bridge Southbound side will be closing at 7:00am and will reopen around 10:30am. The Northbound side will remain open but, expect delays in that area.
The Bellair Beach Causeway will be closed Westbound from 7:00am until around 10:00am. The Eastbound will remain open but, expect delays in that area.
Saturday October 7th
Sunday, October 8th
The Pinellas Trail will be closed from 1st Street until Belleview Blvd from 7:30am until 12:00pm on Sunday, October 8th due to the trail being apart of the half marathon course.
For alternative access to Pier 60
The Clearwater Causeway will be closed on the Northbound side from 6:30a, until 8:30am on October 7th. Please see below map for alternative access route.
You can take W Bay Dr over the Bellair Causeway to get into Clearwater.
